On 14 October Allied Health Professions (AHPs) Day took place, we held our AHP Day conference on 13 October at Aintree Racecourse.
The event started with a live address from the Professor Suzanne Rastrick, Chief Allied Health Professions Officer for England. This was followed by Fran Cairns, our Deputy Director of Therapies, Psychological and Allied Health Professionals who gave an overview of our Trust’s refreshed strategy, AHP’s achievements over the last 12 months and the vision for the year ahead.
Our Assistant Director of Allied Health Professionals, Krystina Stanway, talked about demand and capacity modelling, job planning and finished the morning session with a discussion about research.
Professor Brian Dolan delivered a brilliant masterclass on Valuing Patients Time, Leading Change and Enhancing Care. It was an excellent day with great feedback!
