Liverpool City Council is taking part in the National Car Free Day on 22 September.
The event involves cities around the country removing vehicles from sections of the road to allow residents to experience streets free of vehicles and encourages public transport and walking.
The section of Lark Lane between Hargreaves Road and the stub end will be closed between 7am and 7pm on 22 September so there will be no access for vehicles. Access routes for walking and cycling will be maintained. There will be marshalls on site to advise alternative routes to the medical centre and parking bays.
During this time there will be various stalls and activities taking place promoting active travel and protecting the environment.
