Serious Nonsense Festival – Saturday, 10 August 2024, 11am to 6.30pm  Prescot Town Centre

The event will incorporate indoor events at Shakespeare North Playhouse and outdoor street theatre throughout Prescot Town Centre.

Road closures:

  • Junction of West Street to Vicarage Place to Church Street from 5pm on 9 August to 11.59pm on 10  August
  • Kemble Street to Market Place to West Street, 10 August from 11am to 6pm.

DevaFest 2024 – Chalmondeley Castle Gardens, Malpas, Cheshire – 9 August to 11 August 2024

Expected number in attendance is 9,000.  There will be no road closures although traffic will be heavy.

Liverpool Celebrates - Sunday, 18 August to Thursday 22 August, Pier Head, Liverpool

Taking place across the August Bank Holiday (Friday, 23 to Monday, 26 August) at the Pier head in Liverpool. Each day of the festival will have a different theme:

• Friday, 23 August - Liverpool Legends

• Saturday, 24 August - Party on the Pier

• Sunday, 25 August - Mathew St. Legacy

• Monday, 26 August - Cavern Takeover

Creamfields - Thursday, 22 August to Tuesday, 27 August

 

Please be advised, Temporary Traffic Management Restrictions, Infrastructure, Signage, Marshals and Security Operatives will be deployed across key external locations throughout the full duration of the events Live Phase. Find out more on their website.

A temporary traffic regulation order (TTRO) will be in place from:

Thursday, 22 August at 7.30am to Tuesday, 27 August att 11.59pm  (with the potential to end this earlier if possible). Please note the campsites open Thursday, 22 August at 12pm.

Cheshire Fest - Saturday, 31 August 2024 – Capesthorne Hall, Congleton Road, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK11 9JY

There is currently no information regarding road closures however there may be heavy traffic in the area.
