The 14 October marked AHPs’ Day, and our conference was held at Aintree Racecourse. The national theme for this year is quality and safety and emphasises the importance of providing exceptional care to the people and communities we work alongside.
By delivering care that is not only safe and of high quality, but also grounded in research evidence and innovation, AHPs can make a real difference.
Fran Cairns, Deputy Director of Therapies, Psychological and Allied Health Professions opened the event, and we heard from the Professor Suzanne Rastrick, Chief AHP Officer for England via a livestream where she spoke about the developments for AHP’s over the last ten years.
Attendees also heard important presentations from our clinicians and the afternoon sessions focused on a series of workshops to connect the workforce and share best practice and learning across the Trust.
