Within the Trust, AHP Assistants have a range of job titles which are used to describe the same or similar job roles. The variation in job title leads to misinterpretation of roles when reviewing data reports across the Trust, which in turn can make it difficult for the Trust, services and individuals to accurately identify and understand what professions the Trust has within which roles and with what skills.
To align to national standards regarding naming conventions in ESR and support workforce planning, there has been a consultation with staff to understand what job titles should be used within the Trust for AHP Assistants and at each agenda for change banding.

Following this consultation, a final decision will be made with regards to the job titles. Individuals whose title will change will be contacted via HR to inform them of the outcome.
