Are you a Registered Nursing Associate or an Assistant Practitioner? Are you looking to develop your career and progress to Registered Nurse status?

We are inviting expressions of interest from you if you would like to commence the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship top up programme (RDNA top up).

This 18 month programme will be delivered by Liverpool John Moores’ University and will commence at the end of May 2022.

In order to met the criteria for admission to the programme you will need to evidence by original certificate:

  • Nursing Associate Foundation Degree or Assistant Practitioner Foundation Degree
  • Maths and English qualifications (Minimum GSCE grade C and above OR equivalent ie key skills or functional skills L2)

Deadline for Expressions of interest will be Friday 1 April 2022 at 12 noon. Expressions of interest will need to be sent to Catherine.thomason@merseycare.nhs.uk along with a copy of certificates.  No further EoI  will be accepted after this date/time.

Interviews will be held in partnership with LJMU and are planned for w/c 11 April 2022.

**Assistant Practitioners** – contact Angela.Charles2@merseycare.nhs.uk or Claire.collister@merseycare.nhs.uk as soon as possible with details of your foundation degree before you submit your EoI as LJMU admissions team will need to review your foundation degree transcript/modules awarded to ensure full criteria for entry onto programme is met.
