Improving neonatal services in the North West

The NHS is looking at how to improve neonatal services across the North West of England. Neonatal services provide care for newborn babies who are seriously unwell, often because of early (premature) birth, multiple birth (twins or more), a low birth weight, or other complications.

Amendment to Bank payroll cut off
14 January 2026
Due to a clash with Monthly and Weekly bank payroll, the payroll cut for Bank shifts has been amended to ensure a smooth payroll period.

V7 Door Access Migration
12 January 2026
On Tuesday, 20 January 2026 at 10:00 am, the doors at V7 will be migrated to a new server as part of a wider review of standardisation of access levels across all sites. An external engineer will be on site to carry out the door upgrade, supported by both the Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust Estates Team and the IM Technical Support Team. Support will be on site, checking with all colleagues working from V7 on 20 January 2026 that the upgrade has been successful and all have access.
