Staff carers network launch
14 July 2025
During national Carers week on Tuesday, 10 June 2025, we held the launch of our new Staff Carers Network which was attended by colleagues from across the Trust. Following the success of this, it has been decided that the Staff Carers Network will meet monthly. The next meeting will be on Monday, 28 July 2025, from 1.00 to 2.30pm on MS Teams

NHS Big Tea celebrations continue!
11 July 2025
More teams celebrated the NHS 77 Birthday this week. The Occupational Therapy team at Hartley hospital raised a fantastic £108 at their celebrations on Friday, while School Health Team 1 had a team bake off as part of their festivities!

Important update for radar users
7 July 2025
There will be a change freeze implemented from 6.00am on Monday, 7 July 2025 until 10.00pm on Tuesday, 30 September 2025. This change freeze relates to any amendments to existing forms in Radar. For assurance, Radar Healthcare will continue to be available for reporting all events during this period.

Health and Safety – Climate control guidance

As we approach the warmer months colleagues are reminded that bladeless fans are to be utilised across the trust in both clinical and non-clinical areas. Any areas experiencing extreme temperatures which is documented can escalate to senior leads within their division for advice on rental of portable air con units.

Security and site lockdown process reminder
7 July 2025
Following an incident that occurred this year resulting in lockdown of a Trust building; it’s important that every colleague knows how to respond in the event of a lockdown. All colleagues are reminded to be familiar with your site lockdown plan. If you are not aware of your site plan, please contact your line manager.
