We are inviting expressions of interest for a Senior Clinical Nurse secondment within Urgent Treatment Centres and Walk-in Centres (UTC/WICs). This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nurse to further develop clinical quality, leadership, and governance skills, supporting high quality care across our urgent care services.

5 May is World Hand Hygiene Day: all Mersey Care staff play a vital role in supporting World Hand Hygiene Day and reinforcing a culture of safety across our services. Small, consistent actions make a significant difference in protecting the people we care for and one another.

Due to funding changes, several leadership and management apprenticeships will no longer be available from 1 September. There may be a limited number of final enrolment places available before withdrawal. If you are interested, email apprenticeships@merseycare.nhs.uk as soon as possible to check availability and arrange a short Teams discussion.

The annual PACE365 appraisal window opens on 1 May 2026 and will close on 31 December 2026.
