There are several changes to leadership roles across the Secure Care Division.

Childwall Ward has been named Team of the Month for April 2026 in recognition of their outstanding, compassionate and recovery-focused care. The team supports patients to build independence, develop life skills and progress towards community living.

It is a requirement and a personal responsibility for all staff working at Ashworth, Rowan View, Aspen Wood, Rathbone and Hollins Park hospitals to attend annual security refresher training. This is booked via your area representatives and ward managers. The latest training dates have just been announced.

Patients from one of our Hollins Park wards have been able to enjoy the countryside and do a spot of fishing as part of their occupational therapy.

This Learning Disability Week, the Halton Learning Disability Team are running a art competition, and invite you to create a piece of artwork based on the theme "Do You See Me?"
