At the request of our various staff networks, the Health Needs Assessment 2023 will ask a range of questions that focus on mental, physical, social, financial, and environmental health. Please be as honest as possible when completing, so we can obtain a true profile of our workforce.

Each team / service is required to have a Business Continuity Plan that defines how they will continue delivering critical services during periods of unplanned disruption e.g. loss of IT, loss of equipment.

We have been supporting a University of Oxford study called Prevalence of Pathogenic Antibodies in Psychosis (PPIP)  by acting as one of the sites recruiting potential participants.

Following the introduction of the Health and Care Act 2022, Integrated Care Boards (ICB) replaced Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and were tasked with improving health and care by working much closer with partners to make local health systems work for local communities.

The Secretary of State has now formally approved the partnership between St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals and Southport and Ormskirk Hospitals.
