Mandatory Training – Contractual, professional and regulatory accountabilities

We remind all colleagues that in keeping with NHS and Trust policy HR28, that you have a personal responsibility to complete the mandatory training requirements for your role. It is a contractual, professional, and regulatory requirement to regularly refresh your learning that supports your safety and fitness to practice. 

All colleagues are reminded of their personal accountability to undertake their training. All managers are reminded of their accountability, not just for compliance, but for the standards of practice in their teams. 

ESR login details

We would like to remind colleagues that sharing ESR account details is a breach of confidentiality as detailed in the  Confidentiality and Data Sharing Policy (IT10) which states: Personal passwords issued to or created by employees should be regarded as confidential. Passwords should not be shared with anyone, including IT Services.

All colleagues have a legal responsibility to follow the guidelines in this policy as a breach of security is a serious concern and failure to adhere to the Code of Practice and associated guidance may result in disciplinary action being taken in accordance with the Maintaining Standards in a Just and Learning Culture Policy (HR01).
