The Core20PLUS Ambassadors programme is an opportunity for those working in healthcare who are actively improving health inequalities keen to spread/share their experience and/or further enhance their knowledge and understanding on Healthcare Inequalities. Core20PLUS Ambassadors will:
- Increase and/or enhance personal knowledge, skills and insights on healthcare inequalities and how these can be addressed
- Develop and enhance leadership and influencing skills to support healthcare inequalities improvement and spread best practice in tackling healthcare inequalities at local, ICS, regional and/or national level
- Work with the NHSE Healthcare Inequality Improvement Programme to further develop their ability to shape, influence and/or deliver services to improve tackling healthcare inequality
- Form a community of practice and networks with others involved in healthcare inequality improvement to increase impact on narrowing the gap in healthcare inequalities. Promote the importance of healthcare inequality improvement across the healthcare system so that it improves patient safety, quality of care and outcomes.
