We understand that the distressing incident in Southport yesterday (Monday, 29 July) will have had an effect on you directly or those you may know, particularly due to the close proximity to some of our services within the area.

Thank you to all staff for your continued support with alleviating pressures across our walk-in centres and A&E departments in response to this incident.

We would like to remind you that there are ways we can support you, which includes speaking to your line manager, visiting our staff wellbeing hub or by contacting our Crisis Helpline on 0800 145 6570 (Liverpool and Sefton) or 0800 051 1508 (Halton, Knowsley, St Helens and Warrington.)
