Successful merge of Health Roster and Employee Online

Our eRoster systems were successfully merged in February 2024, and the Trust is now using one single system for Health Roster and Employee Online.

A single system across the Trust allows for fully aligned rostering practices, reporting, and more streamlined processes across temporary staffing, payroll and links to our other HR systems.

The links to the systems are below. Your desktop icons will have been updated to allow you to log into the correct versions of both Health Roster and Employee Online. Your login details will remain the same.

Below are some FAQs which should assist with any questions you might have.

Q: What systems have been merged?

A: We previously had two eRoster systems; both Health Roster systems were provided by the same supplier, RLDatix Allocate Software. One system was used by the former Mid Mersey division, and the other system was used by the rest of the Trust. The former Mid Mersey eRoster system was merged with the wider Mersey Care’s system to have one single eRoster system across the whole Trust in February 2024.

Q: What will change?

A: There will be no major changes visible to the majority of staff when using eRoster. However former NWBH colleagues who were using the legacy NWBH e-Roster system, will need to login to a different URL as every member of staff will now be using the Mersey Care version of eRoster. 

Now the merge is complete, everyone can log into eRoster and Employee Online with their usual log in details.

NB: Opening hours for the Temporary staffing team are Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm. Saturday and Sunday 8am to 2pm.

Q: How do I log in to the system once the merge is complete?

A: We have worked with IT to ensure that is there is only one Health Roster and Employee Online desktop log in and there will only be one log in on YourSpace. 

Q: Will I have a new log in for Employee Online once the merge is complete?

All login details will remain the same.

Q: Will I have a new eRoster log in once the merge is complete?

A: All login details will remain the same.

Q: If I am on the Mid Mersey system and manage rosters, will my access be the same on the wider Mersey Care system?

A: Yes, all permissions and access levels have been copied over. Please note, on the new system no manager will have the permission to unlock shifts/ rosters or drop down a roster. Managers must now request for these tasks to be completed by the eRoster Team. The Temporary Staffing Team is responsible for unlocking bank shifts.  

Q: If I am on the Mid Mersey system, will my roster be the same once merged onto the wider Mersey Care system?

A: Yes, everything will look the same.

Q: Will I still be paid on time? 

A: Yes, the merge should not affect payments to bank staff.

Q: If I am on the Mid Mersey system and manage rosters, will my access be the same on the wider Mersey Care system?

A: Yes, all permissions and access levels have been copied over. Please note, on the new system no manager will have the permission to unlock shifts/ rosters or drop down a roster. Managers must now request for these tasks to be completed by the Temporary Staffing Team, who are responsible for unlocking bank shifts.
