    Dementia prevention training

    6 January 2025

    This training will be delivered by Dr Divya Jain, Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist on 9 January from 1.30pm to 3pm and aims to provide an introduction to dementia, review local and national data and evidence, look at risk factors, discuss dementia prevention measures and provide information on local and national signposting.

    Rio Outcome Measure form updates and graphing panels

    6 January 2025

    For staff who use the Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire (EDE-Q 6.0) will see that the global norm score has been updated to reflect the correct score of 1.404. Those of you who use the GAD-7 and PHQ-9 will be pleased to see there are now graphing panels available so show patients scores over time visually. You can access these by clicking on the + to edit your tabs. Then select GAD-7 or PHQ-9 as desired.

    New process for safeguarding pressure ulcers

    Following the launch of the new prevention and management of pressure ulcers trust policy , there is an updated section on safeguarding considerations and to offer a clear process for staff a new procedure has been introduced which will involve the completion of a new safeguarding template on EMIS known as the Adult Safeguarding Decision Guide.
