There are many small ways you can get behind our charity, from taking part in a fundraiser, to simply sharing a social media post to help spread awareness.
Mersey Cares exists to enhance the wellbeing of our patients, service users, and our colleagues, funding projects and experiences that go beyond NHS budgets alone. Every contribution — big or small — helps create moments of joy, comfort and connection for people across our region and for the teams who care for them.
Here are 10 meaningful ways you can get involved and support the work of our charity:
1. Join Microhive – Our Salary Round‑Down Scheme

Mersey Cares supports a range of staff wellbeing initiatives, and one of the easiest ways to help is through Microhive — a simple salary‑giving scheme that rounds your monthly pay down to the nearest pound, donating just the spare pennies. All you need is your email address and employee number to sign up. Those pennies add up — together, our Trust could raise over £70,000 a year, exclusively for staff wellbeing projects

*Register before the end of March 2026 you could win a Spa Experience for Two at Titanic Hotel Liverpool’s Maya Blue Wellness.
2. Become a Mersey Cares Charity Champion

Find out more and donate an egg for as little as £1.50 – or drop one off at a one of four collection points.
Your kindness really makes a difference
