    Our Annual General Meeting

    This year’s Annual General Meeting took place at the Trust’s headquarters at V7 and was attended by those who had registered for a place. They heard presentations from Chair Rosie Cooper, Chief Executive Officer Trish Bennett, Chief Medical Officer Dr Noir Thomas and Chief Finance Officer Rob Collins on the trust’s performance over the last 12 months.

    Record keeping policy guidance reminder

    15 September 2025

    Staff are reminded not to copy and paste entire email trails and documents into progress notes or clinical entries in the electronic patient records (EPR). If an email or other document is pertinent to the patient’s record, it must be saved and uploaded as a document into the EPR and then a reference made in the clinical entry.

    ZSA Healthcare training

    On World Suicide Prevention Day this week, the Zero Suicide Alliance launched an essential new training resource tailored for healthcare workers which is available for our Mersey Care staff to access now. The free online Healthcare Staff and Suicide Awareness Training has been funded by Mersey Cares with support from NHS Charities Together. It is designed to help people recognise suicide risk within the healthcare workforce and feel confident to offer support. It takes just 30 minutes to complete.
