The Mental Capacity Act (MCA) Champions are colleagues, based across each of the Trust’s divisions, who have a special interest in mental capacity law. Champions are a well-recognised way of promoting best practice, disseminating information and supporting teams. As part of their role, MCA Champions have access to additional enhanced training and support.
The Trust’s MCA Champions are available to support colleagues in their specific teams and clinical areas with the day-to-day application of mental capacity legislation.
