NHS Cheshire and Merseyside are continuing to work closely with the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), Directors of Public Health and wider system partners regarding the recent nationally reported MenB outbreak and the current NHSE North West position.
We are looking for your continued support in using this as a timely opportunity to check that all staff working at Mersey Care are up to date with their vaccinations, and to reinforce the importance of vaccination against preventable diseases.
As you know, staff vaccination is important to protect patients, keep the workforce healthy and can have a real impact on the communities we live and work in by reducing the overall spread of infections. With the rise of measles and some other vaccine preventable diseases it is more important than ever to ensure NHS staff are fully vaccinated.
