Colleagues from across the Trust recently came together to celebrate International Nurses’ Day at a special event led by our Chief Nurse, Jenny Hurst.
The event showcased some of the fantastic work taking place across our services, including highlights about our Health Visiting Portal, the St Helens and Knowsley Intensive Support Team, and our leadership role in developing the new Mental Health Crisis Assessment Service.
Attendees also heard about widening access to research via Count Me In and the important work of our Trust charity and ways you can get involved.
The afternoon session featured Steve Head, inspirational and motivational speaker, and the event closed with reflections and thanks from our Chief Executive Officer, Trish Bennett. Alongside the main celebration, staff from across the Trust also marked the day with team events to recognise and thank our nurses for the skill, compassion and commitment they bring to their roles every day. #ThankyouNurses
