  • New Perinatal Mental Health Birth Trauma course

    7 July 2025

    Three new learning modules are available for all those who support patients who have experienced trauma, suitable for you if you support patients or work with families who may have had a traumatic birth experience. The training is an introduction to the symptoms of birth trauma, postnatal PTSD and outlines the screening tools that are available.

  • Delay in Immunology results TTG and DNAS

    Liverpool clinical laboratories are experiencing a delay in in reporting of TTG and DNA results due to an internal stock shortage. The laboratories are working with suppliers to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

    Healthwatch Liverpool have published their Annual Report for 2024 to 2025 on their website. The report reflects a busy year listening to the public, making sure their experiences are heard by decision makers, helping people to understand their health and care options and working hard to reach out to those communities whose voices may go unheard.

  • Accessing NEWS2 Part B

    Part B NEWS2 is a competency assessment and is now available to book for band 3’s and above. The sessions will take place in the Clinical Skills / Vaccine Centre in training room 1, currently there are 6 sessions per day (Monday to Friday) being provided.
