A huge congratulations to our facilities management teams for achieving higher than the national average scores for the 2024 Patient Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) across a range of non-clinical services contributing to the healthcare environment.

Congratulations to Alison Walshe, our Assistant Chief Executive, she had been listed in the Northern Health Science Alliance (NHSA) list of more than 400 women who are pushing the boundaries of innovation in their sectors to mark International Women’s Day on March 8, 2025. We’d like to celebrate the news of our wonderful FOI (Freedom of Information) Team, Gio Cerisola (Information Access Manager), Anne Massam and Hannah Smyth (Freedom of Information Officers), recently winning the eCase FOI Team of the Year 2025 Award. The team provides support to the Trust (Mersey Care) and IM.

We are currently in the process of developing a new leadership development programme for all colleagues who are aspiring to be future first line managers and leaders within Mersey Care called ASPIRE.
