  • Best use of digital recognition for The Life Rooms

    The Life Rooms were awarded 'Best use of digital for NHS Trusts' alongside Access Health Support and Care at the recent Health Tech Newspaper (HTN) Health Tech Awards, for their work in integrating the RiO system with Elemental which allows mental health professionals to refer service users directly to The Life Rooms for social prescribing support.

  • Finance Department retain level 3 accreditation

    After a details process of providing evidence, Trust finance leads are delighted to announce their 2024 accreditation status. The finance team, led by Chief Finance Officer Rob Collins, has this week seen their Level 3 score (the highest option they can achieve) ratified nationally. They’ve received notification from Via One NHS Finance and Skills Development Network which reflects the continuous development of NHS finance functions, including emphasis on their support for learning and staff development.

  • Count Me In roll out begins at the Annual General Meeting

    Mersey Care senior leaders showed their support for Count Me In at last week’s Annual General Meeting. Chief Executive Prof Joe Rafferty, CEO Designate Trish Bennett, Chair Rosie Cooper and others proudly displayed their support for the new scheme which will make it easier for more patients and service users to get involved in research activities.
