Ward Guardian has been rolled out to selected teams across all three clinical divisions. It’s an information and monitoring tool that supports managers in effective use of our rosters.

The clinical divisions were re-mapped to focus on the relationships with our patients and service users, and as part of this, the four were realigned into three: Secure Care, Mental Health Care, and Community Care. To reflect to purpose and role of services previously aligned to Corporate Services, the division will now be referred to as Trust Wide Support Services (TWSS).

Our colleagues at the British Medical Association (BMA) have formally confirmed further rounds of strikes by the junior doctors. The first one in December, followed by six days of further strike action from 7am on 3 January to 7am on 9 January 2024.
