Delamere Ward at Rowan View has been rated ‘Good Plus’ in its latest QRV, recognising the team’s commitment to compassionate, person-centred care. The ward is committed to quality improvement and is part of the national NHS Culture of Care programme.

Local volunteers joined Trust staff to develop a patient garden and install a bug hotel at our new LD ward in Warrington.

The Life Rooms team at Ashworth Hospital partnered with Royal Liverpool Philharmonic musicians to explore silence, improvisation, and nocturnes. Highlights included a piece inspired by Nirvana’s “Come as You Are” and a patient-composed nocturne. This project showcased the therapeutic power of music, fostering self-expression, active listening, and emotional connection.

The new Divisional Director for Secure Services has been announced. Mark Latham will succeed to the post on the retirement of Steve Newton.

Our low secure site in Maghull opened to patients a year ago. Service users and staff enjoyed a special celebration.
