We understand that the distressing incident in Southport yesterday (Monday, 29 July) will have had an effect on you directly or those you may know, particularly due to the close proximity to some of our services within the area.

Fatima Sharif Ali, Administrator for the Safeguarding team is conducting a research project as part of her degree apprenticeship studies. The research aims to introduce the Multi-Ethnic Colleagues Network (MECN) to the wider Trust, improve and increase the ethnic staff engagement with MECN and improve their overall employment experience within the Trust.

Recruitment is now open for the third cohort of NHS England’s Core20PLUS Ambassadors Programme, and we’d like your help to raise awareness and encourage colleagues to join.

We would like to remind colleagues that sharing ESR account details is a breach of confidentiality as detailed in the  Confidentiality and Data Sharing Policy (IT10) which states: Personal passwords issued to or created by employees should be regarded as confidential. Passwords should not be shared with anyone, including IT Services.

In 2023, for the first time, the national staff survey asked questions which gave a critical insight in the experiences of staff, trainees and students who have encountered unwanted behaviour of a sexual nature while at work.
