Today, on International Day for People with a Disability, we’re pleased to share that a proposal to support the timely implementation of reasonable adjustments has been recently been approved by the Trust, including supporting navigation of the process for access to work. Although this may take some time to put in place, this is a positive step to improving the support we offer colleagues

A huge thank you!

huge thank you to everyone who completed this year’s NHS Staff Survey. We will receive confirmation of our final response rate from the external survey provider shortly, as well as details of our final prize draw winners – good luck to all who entered! We expect to receive the results from the Survey in March 2025 and these are used to help inform Trust and divisional priorities for the year. What you say really does count and makes a difference, thanks so much for sharing your feedback with us.

Infection, prevention and control - winter messages

Heading into winter – we see an increase in viral gastroenteritis and seasonal respiratory viruses including COVID-19 and Influenza. Please see below SOPs to support staff managing patients and staff with respiratory infections, and guidance on managing staff and patients with diarrhoea and vomiting.

New SharePoint Workforce Portal (for transactional forms)
2 December 2024
A new enhanced version of SharePoint for transactional forms will be launched on Thursday, 12 December 2024. The new features include improved design, simplified and user-friendly forms, more automation and improved reporting. Users and managers can also track the progress of their forms. The launch will mean the existing transactional forms on SharePoint will be unavailable for five days from 7 December to 11 December inclusive.
