There was a healthy attendance at this week’s AGM held at Aintree Racecourse, where those who attended were given reports about Mersey Care’s performance in the last year and the Trust priorities in the near future. They also had a chance to look around the marketplace beforehand, where services had stalls explaining what they do and providing further information.

National Vegetarian Week will take place from 1 to 7 October and is the perfect reason to give vegetarian food a go!

As part of our Black History Month plans, we have two exciting events planned ‘Celebrating Experts in Our Midst, Knowledge Acquired Globally and Applied Locally’ and our Black History Month celebration event.

Due to a technical issue, Liverpool Clinical Laboratories are currently experiencing delays in turnaround times for samples including wound swabs, eye swabs and genital swabs. Anything received after the Sunday, 15 September may take an additional 48 hours for a result to be ready.
