During Volunteers’ Week, we’re proud to recognise the incredible contribution our volunteers make.

For over 42 years, Volunteers’ Week has celebrated the impact of people who give their time to support others and at Mersey Care, our volunteers make a real difference every day through their compassion, commitment and lived experience.

Their contribution is vital, valued and felt across our organisation.

Thank you to each and every one of our volunteers — we couldn’t do this without you.

Volunteer Louise Lamkin (pictured right) is a valuable member of the walk-in centre at Old Swan, Liverpool and Garston where she volunteers each week.

Louise says about her role, “I feel so proud of my hard work and jobs that I do.”

The images below show:

  • The group involved in the garden Volunteer Day at Willow House
  • A visit to Walton Lea Partnership
  • A recent Learner Forum, where participants provided feedback on the AccessAble website and how we can make it more accessible and easier to understand
  • International Nursing Day last year, where our nurses were presented with flowers to celebrate the occasion.
