Understanding the offer to resident doctors
NHS England has shared the details of the offer agreed with the British Medical Association (BMA) and what it could mean for resident doctors, including further pay increases, reimbursement of mandatory training-related costs, more training places, better job opportunities and continued action to improve working conditions.
This offer sits alongside our 10 Point Plan to improve resident doctors’ working lives. Year 1 brought significant progress and they are now working with Resident Doctor Peer Leads to shape the focus and priorities for Year 2.
