    Improved resources for our residents this winter

    We have enhanced and improved our ‘Help Us Help You’ webpage to give Cheshire and Merseyside residents advice and tips to support their general wellbeing this winter. The webpage is a one stop shop for tips and advice on how to look after physical and mental health, with the aim of keeping residents away from hospitals and inpatient units, which are traditionally high in demand during winter.

    World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week

    World AMR Awareness Week (WAAW) is a global campaign that is celebrated annually to improve awareness and understanding of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and encourage best practices among the public,  stakeholders and policymakers, who all play a critical role in reducing the further emergence and spread of AMR. The theme for the World AMR Awareness Week (WAAW) 2024 is “Educate. Advocate. Act now” and is a call to the global community to educate stakeholders on AMR, advocate for bold commitments and take concrete actions in response to AMR.
