National award recognises neighbourhood partnership working

Work involving Mersey Care has been recognised nationally, winning the Neighbourhood Health award at the NHS Confederation Excellence Awards.

The award, received under the NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB banner, builds on recent regional success and reflects the impact of partnership working through the Liverpool Population Health Management Group, where Mersey Care plays an active role in delivery and leadership.

The submission highlighted other areas of work being undertaken by the group but included our collaboration with Prima Housing, Fusion21 and Picton Primary Care Network, focusing on the link between health and housing and improving respiratory health through our Integrated Care Teams.

It also showcased our Telehealth Service, demonstrating how a proactive approach is supporting people earlier as part of Liverpool’s wider population health programme. The judges recognised the combination of innovation, strong partnerships and clear impact in securing national recognition. Well done to all.
