Hollins Park Summer Fair
17 June 2025
This week, Austen and Sheridan wards teamed up to host the Hollins Park Summer Fair. Stalls included cakes, games, mocktails, a tombola and crafts created by staff and service users which they were selling to raise money for the wards and to fund future activities.

Community fundraising event this July
17 June 2025
Southport Trinity Cricket Club will be holding a community fundraising day on Sunday, 6 July to raise funds for Bebe’s Hive and Alder Hey Children’s charities. Starting at 12pm, there will be a sponsored cricket match, stalls, music, food and drink for a £5 entry fee.

Picton Mental Health Team take Park run!
17 June 2025
Next Saturday, 28 June, Picton Mental health team with the Liverpool Irish Rovers will be taking over Park run. Team Picton will be on hand to help any staff or patients who are wary about joining, by offering a start line meet up, a walking/running partner and being your general cheerleader! No matter your level of fitness, all are welcome!

National Estates and Facilities Day

The 18 June will mark National Estates and Facilities Day, and we would like to say thank you to our incredible Estates and Facilities Management team. Your work often takes place behind the scenes, but is absolutely essential to keep our hospitals, health centres, and other workspaces safe, clean and of a high quality for our patients, service users, carers and colleagues.

Learning Disability Week
17 June 2025
To celebrate Learning Disability Week, Walton Lea Partnership visited Hollins Park on Tuesday to talk about about what they do and showcase some of the amazing crafts their learners have made. The team were also showing their ‘hospital passports’, designed to make appointments easier for individuals with additional learning needs.
