Dr Helen Sowden, Consultant Psychiatrist in Psychotherapy, is retiring next month after almost 19 years in the Trust (Mid-Mersey), and before that training posts in wider Mersey Care.
Helen would like to welcome colleagues to join her as she bids farewell to Mersey Care:
"I am not one for a lot of fuss, and whilst it is tempting to sneak away quietly, I have worked with so many people over the years, it would be lovely to have the opportunity to say farewell to as many of you as possible. My last day in work is Monday 16 May.
The Conference Room has been booked between 12pm and 2 pm on that day so that anyone working at the Brooker Centre, who wants to, can pop in for a chat over a cup of tea and a slice of cake with me. Please feel free to bring your own lunch too. The timeframe is broad to take into account room number restrictions and allow a staggered attendance if necessary.
I will also arrange to send out a MS Teams invite for anyone who wants to drop in virtually during that time. Please email hailey
In case anyone can’t make that, I will be at “The Hornsmill at Helsby” from 5.30 pm on Monday 16 May 16. If anyone would like to join me for a drink, just turn up.
