On Saturday, 5 July 2025, Elaine Stock and Michelle Schofield from the Neuro Rehab Team will join a team of ten incredibly brave individuals taking on an unforgettable challenge, abseiling 150ft down the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association Merseyside Branch

Last week, Navneet Kapur, Professor of Psychiatry and Population Health at the University of Manchester and honorary Consultant Psychiatrist at Mersey Care was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners at a Ceremony in London in recognition of his outstanding contributions to general practice.

Across the NHS Cheshire and Merseyside health and care system, it has been agreed to standardise bank rates of pay.
