Recent case reviews across the UK have identified that poor information sharing amongst organisations is one of the contributing factors in failures to protect children from dying or being harmed through abuse and neglect.
The Information Commissioner’s Office has published new guidance to address concerns from frontline workers who may be reluctant to share information in case they breach the Data Protection legislation.
