On Tuesday, 10 March 2026 starting at  8.30am, all Net2 Doors at Hartley Hospital will be migrated to a new server as part of a wider review of standardisation of access levels across all sites and improve Building Security. All areas at Hartley Hospital will be affected and we are working with Clinical Business Managers and Site Managers to schedule times for each of the areas below:

Clinical Areas:

HART – Dunes Ward  (between 10 to12 am – due to meds rounds)

HART – Pine Ward   (between 1 to3 pm – due to meds rounds)

 

Assessment Suite and Mere Suite

HART – Assessment Suite – Urgent Care

HART – Mere Suite – Urgent Care

 

All other areas:

HART – Facilities Management 

HART – First Floor Admin Area 

HART – Main Corridor and Reception

HART - Sanctuary and Family Visits. 

 

An external engineer will be on site to carry out the door upgrade, supported by both the Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust Estates Team and the IM Technical Support Team.  Support will be on site from 10 March 2026 to 13 March 2026, checking with all colleagues working from Hartley Hospital that the upgrade has been successful and all have access.

 

What you need to do:

Joanne Fowlis, Head of Safety and Security has authorised for an export of staff who have accessed Hartley Hospital doors within the last 90 days to be taken and the access information for these staff will be copied across as part of the migration.

  • If you have accessed Hartley Hospital within the last 90 days, you do not need to do anything your access will be copied across.
  • If you have not accessed Hartley Hospital within the last 90 days or have staff who require access you must complete the following form by 27 February 2026:  Hartley Hospital Net2 Access (Preview)
  • If you are not based out of Hartley Hospital and only attend infrequently or for meetings, then please do not request access.
  • All Staff should be using their Trust ID Card to access Doors at Hartley Hospital. If you do not have an ID Card, this will need to be requested from the Estates and Facilities Support Area on YourSpace.
