We know that many of our staff are carers – supporting a loved one alongside work. Balancing caring responsibilities with a job can be rewarding, but it can also be challenging, tiring and emotionally demanding. During Carers Week (9 to 15 June), we want to say thank you and to remind you that you’re not alone. We recognise the vital role you play, both at home and at work, and we are committed to supporting you.

Throughout the week, our Carer Engagement Team is hosting a range of events and activities designed to give carers the chance to:

  • Take some time for themselves
  • Connect with other carers
  • Access practical advice, information and support.

There are carers cafés, wellbeing taster sessions, and celebration events taking place across the Trust, including sessions at Hollins Park Hospital, The Brain Charity in Liverpool, and The Life Rooms in Walton, with refreshments provided and a warm welcome for all carers.
