Our Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service has won an NHS Health at Work Network Recognition Award, in partnership with NHS England and other North West NHS Trusts.

Last month’s meeting focused on the NHS Credit Union and awareness of menopause. Our next meeting of the Staff Carers Network that is on Wednesday, 22 October, from 1 to 3pm will focus on the support and resources that can be found in the local Carers Centres across our Mersey Care domain.

We have arranged the following sessions in collaboration with St Helens Deafness Resource Centre. The Deaf Awareness training is designed to promote positive action by helping participants understand the barriers that can exist between hearing and Deaf individuals, and how to reduce those barriers and challenge discrimination.

The schedule for the surveyor from AccessAble have been set for the next two and a half week who will attend some of our properties to either survey for the first time or resurvey our properties and the teams/properties involved have been contacted.

October is Cyber Security Awareness Month – a chance for us all to remember the importance of keeping our patient, corporate and personal data safe from threats!
