We have received instruction from Trish Bennett, our Chief Nurse, that all colleagues who are registered professionals e.g. nurses, AHPs cannot cover shifts on the bank working as a non-qualified.
For our colleagues this means if we send an alert out for a shift to be covered but the requirement is for a HCA, our qualified staff registered with a professional body cannot cover the shift in the capacity of a non-qualified member of the team.
The process will be managed by the temporary staffing team and only colleagues who match the requirement will be put forward for the role.
We will shortly be ending all assignments for colleagues who have non-qualified positions if you hold a qualified role with us.
