New process for safeguarding pressure ulcers
2 January 2025
Following the launch of the new prevention and management of pressure ulcers trust policy , there is an updated section on safeguarding considerations and to offer a clear process for staff a new procedure has been introduced which will involve the completion of a new safeguarding template on EMIS known as the Adult Safeguarding Decision Guide.

Celebrating success: Liverpool FNP hosts festive event and annual review
2 January 2025
The Liverpool Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) team held a celebration event on 4 December at Granby Children’s Centre, attended by young families and their children. The highlights included a visit from Father Christmas (portrayed by Nursing Associate Phil Bennett) and a Christmas singalong led by family nurse Helen Longworth. Attendees enjoyed crafts, play, and time to connect with other families.

Sad News for the Community Care Division

It is with sadness that the family have asked us to inform the friends and colleagues of Joanne Robinson (Gallagher), Health Visitor based in Wavertree Health Clinic, had sadly passed away on the December 2024 following a very short battle with cancer.
