Our Vaccination and Immunisation Team have been busy attending engagements events over the last few weeks, to increase awareness of vaccinations in our communities.

Led by Dr Aisha Mirza, Senior Clinical Psychologist and the MECN, the event looked at South Asia’s colonial history.

Can all wards in Mental Health Care Division count any used ligature knives as part of their security checks at the start of shifts and on handovers. On 19 August, the second Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals Research and Innovation Forum took place at Lakeside, Crosby, featuring Dr. Hazel Roddam, lead author of the AHP Research Strategy for England.

From 1 September 2024, Knowsley’s anticoagulation (warfarin) service will no longer be provided by Mersey Care’s Medicines Management Team. The new provider will be Millbrook Medical Centre who can be contacted on 0151 244 4404 or by emailing: mmc.anticoag@knowsleyccg.nhs.uk
