Our Community Inclusion Team have launched training "Carer Cultural Awareness" (train the trainer.) The training will last approximately 90 minutes and will be a train the trainer model. 

The objectives of the training are:

  • Increase staff understanding of cultural diversity and its impact on care delivery
  • Improve communication and trust between staff and carers from diverse backgrounds
  • Improve staff ability to identify and respond to culturally influenced safeguarding issues
  • Promote inclusive, respectful, and person-centred care
  • Support staff in navigating cultural challenges with confidence and empathy

The training will last approximately 90 minutes and will be a train the trainer model

The dates are:

  • Tuesday, 18 November 2pm at Meeting Room 4, V7 Building
  • Tuesday, 25 November 2pm at Meeting Room 4, V7 Building
