This is aimed to support all services across the Trust who have employed an AHP in a developmental role. This does not apply to those on a substantive specific banded role.

To provide clear information to everyone working at MCFT about dress, uniform and other aspects of appearance.

This procedure provides the opportunity for patients to acquire greater levels of autonomy and independence under the staged Self-Administration of Medicines (SAM) Scheme. It supports the patients’ preparation for discharge to the community and enables those patients who are already self-administering in the community to continue (after assessment) on admission to hospital.

This procedure provides guidance to ensure that valpoate treatment is appropriately and safely used in accordance with regulatory requirements for all female children and women of childbearing potential and males under the age of 55 years. It advises health care professionals of the actions to be taken to educate patients on safe use of valproate and ensure awareness of the potential risk of birth defects and congenital malformations associated with taking valproate in pregnancy.
