IDAHOBIT is the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia.

It was created in 2004 to draw attention to the violence and discrimination experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex people, and all of those with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities or expressions, and sex characteristics.

Mersey Care has a dedicated challenging hate crime programme and we are a long established partner under the NAVAJO Cheshire and Merseyside LGBTIQA Charter mark and were the inaugural NHS partners in the first cohort of this long running accreditation program.
