Congratulations to the CIPHA programme which was formed under the CEO sponsorship and leadership of Joe Rafferty in his role during the pandemic of the Out of Hospital cell. Joe recognised early in the pandemic that there was inconsistent and incomplete data and a lack of data integration that would meet the requirements to be able to respond to the pandemic as a Cheshire and Merseyside health and care system.
Joe worked with Iain Buchan, Professor of Public Health and Informatics at University of Liverpool and with Jim Hughes – Strategic Advisor of Digital programmes at Mersey Care to develop the business case and attract national funding from NHSX.
The awards ceremony will take place on 18 November in London. Good luck!
