There has recently been an updated Verification of Expected Death policy and template shared across Community Care division for all Mersey Care staff that should now be in use for patients who pass away whilst under the care of a Mersey Care team.

From Monday, 19 August, controlled drugs and high risk medicines (eLearning), a three yearly training requirement, will be added to training records for certain roles as agreed by the Medicines Management Team and Learning Development.

Some great news from the female ward at Aspen Wood, our new low secure site in Maghull. Ward manager Phil Searle wants to thank all his team, but is this week highlighting the new nurses, graduating from Edge Hill University.
