The nomination period for the Mersey Care Council of Governors opens today, Monday, 10 February.

Earlier this week, Rosie Cooper (Chair), Trish Bennett (CEO) and Jenny Hurst (Director of Nursing) welcomed Rebecca Gray the newly appointed Director of the Mental Health Network at NHS Confederation, and Marsha McAdam (Expert by Experience and Vice Chair) to Mersey Care.

This event is an opportunity to come together to celebrate the achievements and dedication of our apprentice learners, their workplace educators, assessors, mentors, supervisors and LJMU staff, who have an integral part to play in the success of an apprentice's journey.

An opportunity has arisen within the LGBTQ+ staff network, and we are looking for a vice chair. Responsibilities will include attending all network meetings, chair the meetings when the chair is unavailable and support the chair with their duties. If you are interested, please contact LGBT.staffnetwork@merseycare.nhs.uk by 21 February at 5pm with a paragraph about why you would like to be vice chair and include vice chair interest as the subject title.
