Our stunning 80 bed new site at Mossley Hill will be open to patients next year. In this short film, our specially commissioned drone flies over the site (and also over our lead nurses and colleagues!) to show you the extent of the development so far.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Roy Shuttleworth.

Mental Health Care Division Senior Leadership Team would like to add a special thank you to those already circulated from Mersey Care’s Board members, for the continued commitment and dedication our staff have shown to service users during these unprecedented times. We’re proud and humbled by the resilience that you’ve shown in very difficult times.

Katie has been at Mersey Care for 22 years, with a vast range of experience and roles specifically addictions and community mental health. Katie will be missed by all teams, peers and colleagues and we wish her well within her new role in the voluntary sector.

Our new 80 bed mental healthcare site in Mossley Hill is now just 200 days from completion, with its roof on and interior works progressing. To mark this, Trust leads went on site this week for a ‘topping out’ ceremony. Trish Bennett, our CEO designate, toured the works and said: “It’s looking fantastic, there’s really great progress being made.”
